Greg Dorrance Co. was started in 1972 in Attleboro, Massachusetts. The store holds a wide variety of quality wood carving tools, airbrush kits, art supplies and many itemsthat can be used for any project imaginable. Gregdorrance.com was established to display the vast amount of tools and allow a convenient opportunity for people to order from the store. Sam Plus Plus setup a powerful e-commerce site utilizing osCommerce as the backbone to the store, which gave the owner an easy to use web interface to upload products, change prices, and run the store.
Web Development:
The site was developed using OSCommerce as the backbone. Then site was then further developed beyond the stock OSCommerce deployment through many contributions and custom development.
Control Panel:
The user was provided with a control panel which allows him to maintain virtually all aspects of the site such as adding products and processing orders. The site was then synchronized with a desktop application that more easily allows the site owner to manage inventory.
Statistics:
The site has integrated statistics allowing the user to view day to day traffic, keywords used to find the site, and referring sites among a plethora of other information.
